Baby Brine Shrimp

Post by Leafy Greens on Tue Feb 19, 2013 1:50 pm

So this topic i wanted to talk about BBS or Baby Brine Shrimp.

I have done it in the past and havent done it in a long time. and coming back from such a long hiatus i was really rusty. I would definitely consider myself a newbie to the whole brine shrimp hatching thing. I always used microworms before because they were so easy to culture. But with the recommendation of Longster I and venturing back into the world of BBS.

I was almost going to buy a hatchery when longster recommended that i cut a two liter bottle and flip it in on itself. It works great.

Do you guys have experience with the hatchery and do you recommend it?

Also, what are you steps and processes to hatch brine shrimp. I know there are alot of resources out there, (youtube, websites, articles) that address this top and its been done so much, but lets build some archives for this forum so others can resource us.

thanks guys.
