BBS work better, but microworms is more easy. but having both at the spot is good, because you never know what can happen.

Baby Brine Shrimp is better then microworms... maybe its just me but last time i gave one of my batch microworms and instead of swimming around they lay on the ground most of the time.

not saying microworm is bad if you have it, it'll help too.

I have lots of experiance with both. I'll start first with microworms. So for micro worms you dont want to feed them alot. Why? Because if you do most or 75% of your frys will be ventral finless and why that too? Because microworms dont swim nor float they sink to the bottom and the microworms that are not eaten soon dies and decays and turns into bacteria and when your frys go to eat some that are not dead well guess wat the small frys are exposed to the bacteria at the bottom of the tank and the bacteria will eat away your frys ventral fin if you guys dont believe me please try. Smile

As for BBS they are just too big for frys that are the first week to eat try to find some other source for them till they are 2 or 3 weeks then you can start giving then live bbs. Thats all i hope all wat i said was usefull

Thanks. I was thinking same too. I was going to start feeding microworms for the first week or so and then BBS after.

Welcome Gdog3, did you buy your vinegar eels or did you cultivate them yourself?

But guys don't feed the frys to much bbs why because they will cause the fry to have swim bladder problems which is not good so try to feed them mircoworm for every other day and that well help them not get swim bladder problems or missing ventral
