Hello from San Diego!
Hi all,
I'm originally from Los Angeles, but I am currently living in San Diego because of school. Anyone know of any local betta breeders? It's been a few years since I've keep bettas but I want to get back in. A spontaneously pet shop trip with my boyfriend the other day has got me itching again.
I'm particularly looking for HMPKs. Colors: copper, steel blue, black/white marbles. Not really a fan of red.
At home in LA, I still keep a couple of tanks with some Rainbow Cichlids, Razorback Musk Turtles, Marbled Convicts, and tons of plants. So hit me up if you're in the area! I'd love to make some new fish friends

Re: Hello from San Diego!
Hi Aiwen,
welcome to the forums, at the moment i am out of imported hmpk's and haven't breed any hmpks yet that are size to sell. i currently have a batch of BLUE DRAGON HMPK (possible chance of being fancy) but they are too small to see the quality outcome, but they are already showing beautiful blue signs, but its still a long way till they are quite ready to be sold. I believe we do have a posting of fish shops area in san diego area, but not all the store will carry good quality show bettas. PETCO now carries show bettas HMPK and HM's but then the quality is not that great. but you might get lucky with a nice one. ive seen some nice one here and there.
