ordering a betta from thailand.

im very intereted in ordering a thai-malay betta online and going through jennifer(better shipping reviews) but the prices are crazy, let me get this right, so i pay 35$ which goes to the guy in thailand for the fish and shipping fee to the US, then i pay another 43$ just for one fish if i want to get it usps express, and $27 for priority which i have a feeling the fish will not survive going with priority mail. any thoughts? anybody done this before?

Well first thing is this.
$35 (fish) + $6 thailand export shipping fee (per fish)
$2 (Usa import transhipper fee per fish) + $35-$40 express shipping with DOA policy overnight.

TOTAL = $78-$83


*normally peoples who order fishes from overseas in thailand likes to order like bundles of fishes because it helps shipping cost to make it worth it. but if you are located near sacramento or a transhipper where you can pick it up. you can ignored all the expressing shipping fee's and pay the $2-$3 import fee per fish when you pick it up.
